Senior PHP Developer

Position

We're looking for a Senior PHP Developer who enjoys building complex backend systems from the ground up, making architectural decisions, and shaping the technical direction of our products.

Responsibilities

• Build the backend of a new web product with complex business logic
• Design and develop REST APIs from scratch
• Integrate the product with internal and third-party services
• Contribute to architecture design and technical decision-making
• Collaborate with DevOps and Frontend engineers on infrastructure and development environments
• Participate in sprint planning, task breakdown, and code reviews

Requirements

• Strong experience with PHP 8.x and either Laravel or Symfony
• Hands-on experience designing and building REST APIs
• Deep understanding of relational databases
• Experience working with Docker and containerized environments
• Proven experience building services from scratch through to production
• Experience designing high-load systems and making architectural decisions
• Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture principles
• Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
