Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

Responsibilities

• Build backend services with Node.js and TypeScript
• Design microservice architecture and develop new services from scratch
• Maintain, evolve, and optimize existing high-load services
• Work with systems handling large volumes of traffic and data
• Design communication between services using RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Work with SQL databases
• Contribute to infrastructure running on AWS and Kubernetes
• Build and improve service monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
• Make architectural and technical decisions and own their implementation
• Contribute to engineering practices and technical standards across the team

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in backend development with Node.js
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and NestJS
• Hands-on experience designing and building microservice-based systems
• Experience working with high-load products and services
• Strong SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
• Solid understanding of scalable and fault-tolerant system design
• The ability to make technical decisions independently and take ownership of the outcome
